Collaborative Divorce Specialist
Collaborative Divorce Specialist. These services include Dr. Streeter providing coaching services to individuals who are getting a divorce. Coaching includes helping people create a divorce experience that minimizes animosity and is focused on communicating and cooperating with each other to achieve a common goal.
The collaborative divorce process minimizes cost and allows couples to obtain a divorce without going to court. Dr. Streeter also serves as a Child Specialist with the collaborative divorce team. Child Specialists interview the children to determine what their unique developmental and emotional needs may be with regard to their parents’ separation and divorce.
The Child Specialist provides assistance to the parents as they develop a child sharing plan. The ultimate goal of the Collaborative Team is to help parents come to an agreement that is in the children’s best interest.
